New Product Annoucement – Analog and Temperature Modules For Weintek iR Series i/o

Earlier in 2018, Weintek released a high-efficiency control solution: HMI+CODESYS+I/O Module, which has received positive feedback from customers. To make it a more complete solution, Weintek has developed new modules for the iR Series modules: Analog I/O modules and a Temperature module. iR Series i/o combined with a CODESYS enabled HMI can take care of complex tasks that traditionally would have required a separate PLC – saving you both time and money.

The new four new iR Series Analog Modules are:

iR-AI04-VI 4 channel Analog Input
iR-AQ04-VI 4 channel Analog Output
iR-AM06-VI 4 channel Analog Input + 2 channel Analog Output
iR-AI04-TR 4 channel Temperature Input

Features:

Analog Input Modules

  • Configurable Channel Mode
    – Each channel may be configured as input voltage or current mode (-10~+10V, -5V~+5V, 1~5V, -20~20mA, 4~20mA) for different applications.
    • User-Defined Conversion Rate
    – Built-in digital-to-analog conversion with user-defined ranges eliminating the need for complex conversion program in a PLC.

  • Input Filter
    – The built-in input filter enhances signal precision to achieve better control.
    • Disconnection Detection
    – In 1-5V / 4-20mA mode, a channel alarm will be generated when an input disconnection is detected.
    • Fast Conversion Mode
    – Conversion time per channel is 2ms; in fast conversion mode where only one channel is used, the conversion time can be reduced to 500us.

 

Analog Output Modules

  • Configurable Channel Mode
    – Each channel may be configured as output voltage or current mode (-10~+10V, -5V~+5V, 1~5V, -20~20mA, 4~20mA) for different applications.
    • User-Defined Conversion
    – Built-in digital-to-analog conversion with user-defined range eliminates the need for writing complex conversion program for PLC.
    • Linear Output (Soft-Start)
    – Adjustable soft-start function allows gradual increase or decrease of the output
    • Voltage Short Circuit & Current Open Circuit Protection
    – The module will generate an alarm and disable the output if a voltage output is short-circuited or current output open-circuit is detected.

 

Temperature Input Module

  • Supports most Thermocouple and RTD devices on the market.

Thermocouples:  J,K,R,S,T,E,N,B,C,L,U,TXK/XK(L),TBP/BP(A-1),TBP/BP(A-2),TBP/BP(A-3),M
RTDs: PT100, PT1000, LG-N1000, Ni100, Ni1000, Cu50, Cu100
Voltage inputs: ±2V, ±1V, ±0.5V, ±0.25V, ±125mV
Resistance detection: 0-3000Ω、0-300Ω

  • User-Defined Temperature Table
    – Apart from the temperature tables of common Thermocouple and RTD, users can define their own temperature reference tables so that even if the sensor type is not in the built-in list, the user can still define it.
    • Input Filter
    – The built-in filter enhances signal quality to achieve better control.
    • Disconnection Detection
    – A channel alarm will be generated when input sensor disconnection is detected.

 

EasyRemoteIO
EasyRemoteIO is PC software that allows users to configure and monitor all iR Series products. It is user-friendly and can help users quickly check the operation of iR Series products.
