Southern Manufacturing & Electronics 2017: The world of engineering in one event
Southern Manufacturing and Electronics 2017 returns to FIVE, Farnborough, from March 21st to 23rd. The 18,000m² purpose-built venue alongside Farnborough Airport in Hampshire is almost completely sold out. A total of around 800 firms from around the world are expected to participate, between them offering an amazing variety of components, industrial equipment and services, from high-tech machining centres to contract electronics manufacture.
The show occupies an area greater than five halls of the NEC combined, and caters for pretty much every branch of manufacturing and engineering. With a comprehensive selection of vendors covering both production hardware such as machinery and tooling, and components, it offers an outstanding opportunity to solve multiple sourcing issues in a single visit.
As the largest annual engineering show in the UK, Southern Manufacturing & Electronics attracts strong support from many major international machinery manufacturers who will be running live demonstrations throughout the event. Some of the companies exhibiting include Haas Automation, Yamazaki Mazak, Unison, CMZ, Bruderer and many others. Matsuura will launch its latest machining centre at the show, and Bystronic will highlight its newest automation solutions. Complementing these are a wealth of tooling and production equipment vendors, including 1st Machine Tool Accessories, Vargus, Roemheld, Nikon, Faro, Arno UK, Bowers Group, Dormer Pramet and hundreds of others.
