Status Instruments
A series of handy new free Android Apps has been developed and launched by leading UK Instrumentation company, Status Instruments Ltd.
Developed specifically for use by process engineers, the Apps are designed to assist with calibrating, configuring or testing temperature or process conditioning equipment.
- RTD Converter: converts between PT100, PT500, PT1000, °C & °F. This App will convert an ohmic value to temperature and back for various RTD sensors
- Thermocouple converter: converts between temperature and thermocouple mV values and back again. It also has a reference of the different thermocouple cable types.
- Process Value to Signal: Converts an Engineering variable (PSI, °C, BAR/ etc.) to an output (mA, mV, V/ etc.). This App will give the calculated output in mA or Volts for the applied engineering or process value of any electronic transducer. It can also calculate the engineering process value from the measured output signal from the transducer.
