MMS Electronics unveils a bright 4.3“ IPS Modbus display & new PLC.
MMS Electronics Ltd has launched EA HMI043LM-42ATCS a new 4.3” Modbus display with PCAP touch-panel. This 4.3” Modbus HMI feature a high-brightness IPS display for exceptional readability, even in harsh sunlight. Boasting a stunning 1,000 cd/m² brightness and wide 170° viewing angle, this display ensures your content is clear and crisp in any environment. Making sure your product stands out.
The Modbus HMI displays work seamlessly with PLCs from industry leaders like Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Mitsubishi FX, Siemens, Omron and Unitronics.
Both the EA HMI043LM-42ATCS and EA HMI043WM-42ATCS offer flexible Modbus/TCP and RTU communication options. The HMI043LM-42ATCS connects via LAN and RS-485, while the HMI043WM-42ATCS adds Wi-Fi connectivity to the RS-485 interface.
These Modbus HMI displays are easy to power! They work with any standard DC power supply between 5 and 30 volts.
User screens are stored directly in the display and therefore run without delay and smoothly at all times. The screen contents, touch function and Modbus settings are prepared by the free HMI designer software.
The compact 4.3” display (Size: 114 x 84 x 15.5 mm) can be wall and front panel mounted. The selection of HMI screen sizes is expanding and soon we are adding a new 7-inch option EA HMI070LM-42ATC.
The Modbus displays are part of a new product line that includes a new compact PLC control unit from DISPLAY VISIONS. This innovative PLC is designed to be particularly communicative, the central control unit has a colour touchscreen display and can address up to 50 remote satellite displays. Imagine visualizing data, tweaking parameters, and wielding control over your industrial control systems – all from various vantage points. These ingenious PLCs make it a reality.
The PLC central control unit, “PLC-Core”, is simple to use and displays your measurement and process data on a brilliant 2.8 inch IPS display with a PCAP touch panel to enter control commands and parameters.

The PLCC28-D8I4R4 is networked with the satellite displays automatically via Ethernet, RS-485 or Wi-Fi. The measured values and parameters are updated automatically.
The satellite terminals are not linked to one location; instead they are assigned via software, allowing you to visualise process data via any of the connected display, or enter parameter data via a different device. Depending on the complexity of the input and output data, users can choose different sizes displays for the satellite displays.
EA PLCS43-DS a 4.3″ satellite display is the first size to be made available. The product range will soon be expanded to seven display sizes ranging from 2” to 10.1”. All display satellites have a high quality, high brightness IPS display that stand out with excellent readability, even in sunlight, and a wide 160 degrees viewing angle. The EA PLCS43-DS can be wall, flush or top-hat rail mounted.
The PLC-Core EA PLCC28-D8I4R4 offers 8 digital inputs, 4 relay outputs, 4 analogue inputs (0-10V or 4-20mA), RS-232 and a Real-Time-Clock. The RS-485, Wi-Fi and Ethernet are reserved for communication to the satellite displays. The supply voltage is 12-24V. The PLC-Core is designed for top-hat rail mounting and can be installed effortlessly in a control cabinet.
The PLC is programmed with the free PLCdesigner tool for Windows™. This user-friendly software boasts a drag-and-drop interface. The software is packed with many ready-made elements, letting you build custom pages in a flash.
