We provided our polyurethane cable to a North Sea fish farm. Fifteen years later, we received a call reporting that the cable had failed. However, after close inspection, we discovered that it was actually the connector that had failed, not the cable.

The cable was fitted with a new connector and returned to operation. As far as we know, it is still in use today — more than 20 years later.

Our Supreme Polyurethane compound is widely used by numerous underwater marine and offshore companies thanks to its superior properties. It is resistant to hydrolysis, UV and abrasion, offering robust durability in challenging conditions.

Despite its toughness, the compound retains excellent flexibility and is available in a range of colours.
