Expanded Metaltech offers new customer solutions
Metaltech Precision, part of the Expromet Technologies Group, is pleased to announce that, through the acquisition of NC Precision which took place in May, it has expanded its sliding head machining capacity at its Somerset facility and now boasts a wider range of equipment and capabilities to cater for the most complex of parts.
Wider range of plant and equipment
Following the recent acquisition of NC Precision, a leading manufacturer of precision components, equipment and employees have now been transferred to the Metaltech premises. The seven sliding head machining centres have found a new home alongside Metaltech’s existing sliding head machines in a dedicated sliding head cell and are providing a welcome boost to production capacity. The new L32 which was already on order, was delivered and installed ahead of the move.
Improved facilities for micro machining
Metaltech has taken this opportunity also to set up a dedicated cleaning, deburring and inspection cell, providing specialist facilities which extend our capability to offer micro machining of miniature components.

We are delighted to welcome the highly-experienced team from NC Precision to Metaltech to help us continue to deliver and expand upon the precision engineered solutions we offer our diverse customer base at the highest levels of quality and service.
