CRP Technology manufactured test-ready 3D printed pouch cell frames for Energica Motor Company.
The challenge of the project was to guarantee the safety of battery case which need to be flame retardant, electrically insulated, resistant to high temperatures and auto-adaptive to withstand the volumetric expansion.
Such demanding result was achieved thanks to the use of additive manufacturing and CRP Technology’s glass fiber reinforced composite material Windform FR2.
