Originally designed for small printing companies collecting trimmed waste from guillotines the Paramount Mini-System has also been purchased to support larger paper and card handling companies offering vital emergency support for critical operations should a large, central waste system be out of action.

Three basic principles offer a range of solutions to suit a variety of situations depending on waste size and volume and conveying distance.

Blower fan, simplest solution for small parts, design of pickup and ducting critical to ensure conveying speed calculated correctly.
Venturi system fan, simplest solution for continuous trim, fan and running costs typically larger than blower fan solution.
Chopper fan, for larger products which require size reduction to aid conveying, used as a last option as chopping action will induce dust which may require filtration.

The system demonstrated includes a blower fan with ducting to a hopper. Waste product drops onto the conveyor from three separate stations and feeds towards the hopper. The waste falls into the hopper and a high velocity jet of air, created by an adjustable nozzle, drives the waste to a dissipater over a bin. Air volume and velocity are calculated accurately to ensure the process is effective and efficient. Calculating the correct motor size ensures power consumption is no greater than it has to be.
