Originally designed for small printing companies collecting trimmed waste from guillotines the Paramount Mini-System has also been purchased to support many larger paper and card handling companies offering vital emergency support for critical operations should a large, central waste system be out of action due to breakdown or maintenance.Three basic principles offer a range of solutions to suit a variety of situations depending on waste size and volume and conveying distance.
Blower fan, simplest solution for small parts, design of pickup and ducting critical to ensure conveying speed calculated correctly.
Venturi system fan, simplest solution for continuous trim, fan and running costs typically larger than blower fan solution.
Chopper fan, for larger products which require size reduction to aid conveying, used as a last option as chopping action will induce dust which may then require filtration or waste collection outside.

Paramount Waste designed, manufactured and installed this system to remove waste packaging from an Automotive assembly line. It included a blower fan, pickup hood, conveyor and ducting to a dissipator. Waste product drops onto the conveyor from three separate robot assembly stations and feeds towards the pickup hood. The waste falls into the pickup hood and a high velocity jet of air, created by an adjustable nozzle fitted inside the ducting, drives the waste to a dissipator over a bin. Air volume and velocity are calculated accurately to ensure the process is effective and efficient. Calculating the correct motor size ensures power consumption and therefore running costs are no greater than they have to be.
