Allen-Bradley PLC, Drive, & HMI Migration
Users with old/obsolete Allen-Bradley PLC’s have an easy, low downtime and low-risk solution to replace obsolete drives, robots, operator interfaces and other devices on “bluehose” Remote I/O (RIO) or Data Highway Plus (DH+) without requiring replacement or changes to the PLC-5, SLC-500, or other A-B controller. Additionally, the PLC controllers can be replaced with a state-of-the-art open architecture PAC without the need for re-programming or re-wiring.
Smart SoftPLC controllers and Gateways provide, in addition to up to 3 RIO/DH+ port(s), 5 Ethernet ports, serial/USB ports, WiFi and virtually no limit on application or data memory. It is easily configurable to support a mix of up to 16 protocols simultaneously (including ModbusTCP, Modbus, Ethernet/IP and more).
