Elfab products to have new marking following receipt of enhanced GOST accreditation

Renewed CU TR 32 Certificate of Conformity enables Elfab to show the Eurasian Conformity Mark on its rupture disc tags

Europe’s leading pressure relief specialist, Elfab, has successfully passed a rigorous conformity assessment relating to the pressure equipment regulations of the Customs Union. As part of the revised procedures, Elfab can now show the EAC mark on disc tags indicating that its products meet the standards of the CU TR 32 Certificate of Conformity – a replacement of GOST certification relating to rupture (bursting) discs.

Elfab is one of the first rupture disc manufacturers to receive this accreditation, which ensures that its products conform to global technical regulations for pressure equipment. This reinforces Elfab’s commitment to protecting the health, safety and environment of product users and to represents compliance of Russian and Customs Union safety requirements.

According to the Russian and Customs Union’s laws, more than 80% of all products to be sold or used in Russia or Customs Union (CU) require mandatory certification.
