Full house at Southern Manufacturing 2022
Southern Manufacturing & Electronics, the UK’s top annual industrial technology show, will fully occupy the 20,000m² Farnborough International Exhibition Centre when it opens from February 8th to 10th. The organisers report that only a few stands remain unoccupied as engineering firms across the UK and Europe stage an enthusiastic return to face-to-face business.
The show features an incredible range of suppliers, including major international machinery and production equipment manufacturers, component suppliers, OEM parts, consumables and pretty much every type of subcontract service provider. The show is the place to see the latest machinery and hardware in action, meet suppliers from across the UK, continental Europe and beyond, plus source everything your business needs to operate efficiently and profitably. Comprehensive measures are in place to ensure your safety, including filtered fresh air ventilation throughout the venue.
Alongside the thousands of products and services on show, the ever-popular free seminar programme also returns for 2022 in a socially-distanced format. With UK business now operating in a post-covid, post-Brexit world, keeping abreast of the latest legislation and management strategies has never been more important. This year, among the topics discussed, Paul Grabham looks at the impacts of post Brexit and covid on HMRC R&D Tax Credits. Tim Scurlock of Applied Lean Consulting gives some ideas on how to drive continuous improvement in your business; Graham Cooper offers tips on energy usage reduction in manufacturing and Nick Aitken and Dr Alex Martin give advice on how to handle a product safety incident. Sessions run over all three days and a full list is available on the show’s website at www.industrysouth.co.uk
Entry is free, there’s free on-site parking for 3,500 cars and a free dedicated shuttle bus service from Farnborough mainline railway stations direct to the show.
