HBM ANNOUNCES LATEST SERIES OF INFORMATIVE WEBINARS

HBM – a market leader in the field of test and measurement – is pleased to announce the dates for its latest series of free webinars, which take place 19th – 22nd April 2016.

The six webinars, which run over three days and last between 45 minutes to an hour, have been designed to fit in with challenging time constraints which can often make attending relevant training courses difficult.

Providing advice and focus on a variety of topics, the first of the webinars, which begins on 19th April, provides an insight into ‘Infrastructure Monitoring with Optical Fiber Sensors: Different, not difficult’, and offers a reliable and safe solution for numerous testing applications.

Also available on 19th April is ‘Advanced Aircraft Electrical System Testing’ which will explain HBM’s solution for advanced testing and measurement of components and the complete electrical grid of an aircraft. Presented by Dirk Eberlein, Product and Application Manager for Genesis HighSpeed, this webinar will focus on: how a scalable data acquisition system with 4 to 10,000 channels will be used for component testing up to full electrical grid certification; the analysis of the data collected from an aircraft’s electrical grid, motor and generator; and how to directly and safely measure high voltages up to 1,000V and currents.

This is followed by a further webinar in the afternoon on ‘Fatigue and Durability Testing’ which looks at HBM’s nCode software and how it can assist test engineers to make the right engineering decisions, undertake rapid analysis and work collaboratively.

On day two participants are invited to ‘Get the most out of TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet). Providing considerable time and cost savings, especially with frequently changing test and measurement tasks in test bench environments, users can uncover the benefits and advantages to utilising TEDS.

Participants can also learn how ‘Accurate Load Measurement Optimises the Efficiency of Marine Engines’ and finally, ‘Ask anything on Digital Weighing Technology’ on day three, giving you the opportunity to get answers to questions you’ve always wanted to ask about digital weighing.

As well as watching the webinars live, they can be easily accessed at a later date or simply used as a refresher course. As an added benefit, all registered attendees will receive a link to the webinar, via email, after the presentation.

All webinars are free of charge and open to anyone, although spaces are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Please reserve your space by booking at the link http://www.hbm.com/en/3157/webinars/
