Heat Flux Measurements in the Micro-Watt range

greenTEG offers high-precision thermal sensors (gSKIN®) for process control and maintenance. greenTEG’s sensors resolve heat flux in the Micro-Watt range and detect temperature gradients down to Nano-Kelvins.

The gSKIN® heat flux sensors measure three types of heat fluxes: conduction, convection, and thermal radiation. They generate an analog voltage signal proportional to the heat flux. The signal can be read out and further processed to monitor processes and conditions.

Applications:

  • Mass flow measurements
  • Real-time detection of thermal influences in high-precision instruments
  • Non-invasive temperature measurement & profiling
  • Fouling & icing detection
  • U-Value measurements
  • Ideal for OEM applications
