Heraeus joins the British Government on its first trade mission since the election

Debbie Playle, managing director of Heraeus Noblelight, world leaders in Xenon Flash Technology has joined a group of 31 UK businesses to accompany the Prime Minister David Cameron on his trade mission to South East Asia.

The trip is set to visit Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia.   Mr Cameron Said “British companies like Heraeus Noblelight Ltd are flying the flag and unlocking the economic potential of the fast growing economies of South East Asia. I’m delighted that they have joined me on my first trade mission of this government and I hope that we can work together to create jobs and growth for the UK.”

During her visit, Debbie will promote the unique automated manufacturing technology for Xenon Flash Lamps, which gained the company a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation this year. She hopes to establish trading contacts in South East Asia and views this as the first stage in expanding Heraeus’ distribution network in this key growth area.

“We are very proud to have been selected for this important Trade Mission,” said Debbie. “It represents an important opportunity to demonstrate that with the right Team and the right Technology, Britain can compete anywhere on the world stage.”
