Hibiscus secures seminar speakers

Hibiscus plc, the leading label and software company, has announced two speakers for its CLP Mixtures seminar on the 12th November in Leeds. Desmond Waight, of DanGoods Training & Consultancy, and Dr Joanne Lloyd, director at REACHReady, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chemical Industries Association, will be discussing what the impact of the CLP Regulation on the classification, labelling and packaging of mixtures will mean for the transportation of dangerous and hazardous goods.

Desmond Waight has over thirty years experience in the supply and transportation of dangerous goods. Dr Lloyd also has a great amount of industry experience having helped shape the REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) Regulations and heading up REACHReady since its launch in 2006.

As well hearing from the speakers, attendees to the seminar, which is being held at Hibiscus’ premises, will also be informed about the legislation changes for mixtures and advised of the best way to update their own labels.

James Killerby, director at Hibiscus PLC, commented, “We are really pleased that Desmond Waight and Dr Joanne Lloyd have signed up to speak at our event. The seminar will provide attendees with the opportunity to ask these industry experts for their tips and advice before the CLP Mixtures deadline next year. ”
