Within the comprehensive product portfolio is CASSIDA, the NSF H1 registered food grade lubricants range, this being the first food grade lubricant range to receive ISO 21469 certification, it is pleased to add CASSIDA Chain Oil XTE to its CASSIDA food grade range.
The synthetic CASSIDA Chain Oil XTE, heralds a new era in food grade (NSF H1) high temperature chain lubrication and is perfect for high temperature applications, it boasts excellent performance up to 300°C.
CASSIDA Chain Oil XTE can successfully replace other ester or PAO-based oils with no miscibility issues
Tim Parish, of the FUCHS LUBRITECH Speciality Division, said: “We are delighted to launch this industry-leading chain oil. We identified a need for a product with higher thermal stability for ovens rising to beyond 240°C and up to 300°C.
Our R&D department developed a new technology and a special additive package which achieved this, and following independent benchmark testing and real-life scenarios, the product outperformed equivalent grades through extraordinary lower evaporation rates, reduced formation of burned solid residues and corrosion resistance to provide improved reliability and performance of critical high temp chain applications.”
