Aliaxis UK release a new lightweight ECU for their PLX Pipework System!
Continually striving to offer improvements to customers, Aliaxis have enhanced their range of Electrofusion Control Units tailored for their plastic pipework system for fuel; PLX.
Launched in direct response to customer feedback, they have introduced a new, lightweight ECU machine, designed to offer choice and flexibility to installers and complement their existing offering.
At just 12kg, the new unit can be supplied with a light duty shoulder carry case for ease of transport around site, aiding the process for installers. For sites and applications that require a more robust solution, a heavy duty carry case is also available.
Supplied in 110v or 230v options, the new unit comes with barcode or manual entry options and 4.7mm terminal leads as standard, 4.0mm adapters and spring pin adaptors for flying leads are also included.
Suitable for PLX pipework from 16mm up to 160mm diameter, the company expects the new lightweight ECU machine to be a very popular addition.
Commenting on the new unit, Rich Pedley, PLX Product Manager for Aliaxis, said: “Reducing the weight of our ECU unit is something we have been asked about by customers. We are committed to offering enhancements to our product portfolio that deliver genuine benefits to customers, which is exactly what the new unit does.”
“With ever stricter deadlines, installers want the installation process to be as quick and easy as possible, without compromising on quality and that can be achieved by using our latest ECU unit.”
