IET launches its 2018 search for the world’s most groundbreaking innovators in engineering, science and technology

Winner benefits include money off IET events, exposure opportunities including E&T magazine, considered to speak at our EngTalks series and an invitation to judge next year’s entries. Plus all finalists are invited to showcase their innovation in action at the awards ceremony, attended by innovation and business leaders.
Recent winners included an electric weedkiller, eliminating herbicides, a non-invasive method of delivering drugs to the eye, automatic incident detection that allows obstacles on roads to be cleared faster and an audio navigation system for visually impaired people.
Award categories include Manufacturing Technology, Intelligent Systems, Emerging Technology Design, Power & Energy and Start-up. There’s also a new Young Innovators Award.
