The long running single speed PROFIBUS DP network arrangement is now challenged by the release of a revolutionary multi-speed repeater from Procentec, designers of the industry leading ProfiTrace PROFIBUS test kit.

The new ProfiSwitch x5, distributed in the UK by Hi-Port Controls, allows mixing of different network speeds, as may be needed for slower speed slaves and/or longer segment lengths. This radically new product opens a totally new way of thinking to PROFIBUS network designers!
