RRC Launch Live Online Courses
Following the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak across the world, RRC have temporarily suspended classroom courses for the safety of learners and RRC staff. To help learners progress their studies in these difficult times RRC have created a new course delivery option that blends the dynamic of classroom based learning with RRC’s highly regarded Online Learning. RRC will be offering Live Online courses for a select number of courses starting with the 2019 Syllabus NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. The NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH HSE Certificate in Process Safety Management and IOSH Managing Safely courses will also be available very soon.
Live Online courses will run on scheduled dates just like a classroom course. Everything required to study is accessed and launched through our easy to use Learning Centre. There are specific study schedules for each day as well as resources used in the online sessions.
Each study day is laid out in an easy to follow order featuring a mixture of live classes and directed study. Everything you need for the day is easily accessible.
A typical ‘Live Day’ will include 3 – 4 hours of live sessions led by an experienced RRC tutor. When you do join a live session you can expect a varied and interactive class that features:
- Topical presentations with the ability to ask questions and discuss with the tutor
- Activities that stimulate discussion with colleagues and the tutor
- Poll questions with feedback from the tutor
- Collaborative activities that get everyone involved
- Small group exercises with opportunities to feedback to the rest of the class and the tutor
When your live course has concluded, you can use the included normal Online course as well as RRC discussion forums and tutor support to help you get prepared for your assessment.
RRC Managing Director, Gary Fallaize, comments “It is great to be able to bring these live online courses to the market, to provide our valued learners with this new collaborative learning style. Though these are challenging times for us all, we hope our learners will feel the full benefit of these courses and benefit fully from the classroom-style experience in their own homes.”
