Business as usual as Culligan UK changes ownership
Culligan UK Ltd, one of the UK’s leading providers of industrial and commercial water treatment and filtration solutions has announced a change of ownership. As of April 1st 2014 we are transferring to a Culligan franchise operation. This change will bring the UK in line with the business model Culligan International operates throughout the world.
The company has a new management team headed up by Managing Director Chris Smith. Chris gained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Tasmania and joined the water industry in 1990. Chris has held senior roles encompassing virtually every aspect of the industry, including design, commissioning and project management in the municipal, commercial and industrial water and waste water sectors.
Commenting on the takeover, Chris says: “Culligan is a global company with a network of over 900 dealers and licensees spanning 90 countries around the world. The new structure has brought the UK into line with the business model that had seen so much success worldwide and retains Culligan (UK) Limited as a key member of the Culligan network.
“Culligan has one of the best brands and strongest product lines of any company in the water industry and it is our intention to continue to grow by providing our customers with the very best water treatment solutions and technical support.”
He continues: “I would like to reassure all our existing and new customers that Culligan UK will continue to provide the same high levels of service. There is no change to the product range or prices and we remain the sole supplier of Culligan branded products to the UK market.”
