Lamonde Automation

September 2017 marks a milestone for Lamonde Automation Ltd. Founder, Mike Donoghue started Lamonde in 1982 as Coutech Associates, a Texas Instruments PLC distributor and peripheral manufacturer. Throughout the 80’s Lamonde developed products to compliment the Texas Instruments PLC range until the acquisition of the TI PLC business by Siemens.

In the 1990’s new opportunities presented themselves, such as teaming up with Automation Direct, whilst maintaining the link with TI by offering a repair service for the legacy PLC ranges & becoming regarded as the experts on Texas Instruments PLCs. Towards the end of the 90’s Lamonde became a distributor for Weintek Labs, their excellent HMIs are now ubiquitous in factories throughout the world & they are continually developing and enhancing the range, with the latest products providing IIoT connectivity & Industry 4.0 support.

Lamonde continues to evolve, embracing new and exciting Automation technology. In October 2016, the company was purchased by Duncan Stanton, an employee of Lamonde since 1997 and has gone from strength to strength, offering far more products than ever before, backed by helpful knowledgeable staff & good levels of stock of popular products.
