Sub Contract Precision Engineering Company Engineering Technologies & Manufacturing Ltd Have Recently Relocated To Northampton From Lancashire
Although their much needed move has been somewhat disruptive by way of the fact that most of the machines have ‘protested’ to having been moved 160 miles, it has already allowed the company to further increase its already impressive capacity.
The company have just installed a 5 axis machining centre with 190 tool capacity connected to a 40 pallet robot and spark eroder and they already have capacity rarely seen as a sub contractor including studer and blohm grinders and full 3d scanning ideal for prototyping and reverse engineering.
The Directors consider its growing workforce to be its ‘family’ with quite a unique atmosphere focussing on moving the company forward to benefit all and encourage suggestions and ideas from their staff. They are looking for staff at the moment particularly CNC Programmers, but MD James Stewart said ‘ It is as important to get the right personalities to ‘fit in’ with everyone else and maintain the same harmony within the workplace’
The company have their own product line but also do sub contract work for a few select longstanding companies and are intending to grow the sub contract side of the business.
